Shipping and Returns


Shipping

All orders are processed within 3 - 5 business days, except for pre-orders.  Processing time may be longer due to promotions or holidays.  We will send you an email with shipping details once your order is processed.  We are not responsible for delays caused by carrier and/or customs.

Note that customers are responsible for paying taxes and duties if applicable.

Canada

All orders are shipped by Canada Post or Chit Chats with 2 - 8 business days delivery.

We offer flat rate shipping of C$6. 
Orders over C$100 after discount and before tax are shipped for free.

US

All orders will be shipped by USPS.

We offer flat rate shiping with tracking for C$8.
Orders over C$100 after discount and before tax are shipped for free.

For the following countries, we ship by Asendia Priority.  Tracked with delivery confirmation with 5 - 22 business days delivery.

Please email us at hello@playfulelements.ca or send us a message on Messenger with the items and quantity you would like to order, and we will provide you with a shipping quotation within 2 business days.  If you are happy with the quotation, please reply by email, and we will send you an invoice with the items you want and quoted shipping cost.  Please proceed with payment.  Once you pay, we will process your order within 3 - 5 business days.

If you do not wish to wait, you may choose to checkout by selecting the Canada Post rate provided.  We will refund you the difference in shipping once your order is processed within 3 - 5 business days.

We ship to the rest of the world via Chit Chats without tracking.  14 - 30 business days delivery.  2kg maximum. 

Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Once we receive your email, we will evaluate the condition of the items, and approve and reject your request via email within 2 business days.  Please note that no return would be accepted without prior email approval from us.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds (if applicable) 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.

We will process your refund within 5 business days, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. 

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@playfulelements.ca.

Sale items (if applicable) 
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable) 
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please send us an email at hello@playfulelements with the following information:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
